These studs by Lunar Moose are made using a paper base. The outer layer is made of birch bark. Yes, that is real birch bark, picked up from the ground while on a stroll through the woods!
The pieces are finished with a water resistant finish to repel any water.

Nickel free, hypoallergenic and generally good for those with allergies or sensitivities.
